Sports Sand
A washed and graded sports sand, especially chosen for its excellent natural drainage properties. Suitable for enhancing and improving the drainage of football pitches, rugby pitches, domestic lawns, and amenity turf.
Ideal for:
*Spreading across the grass surface
*Adding a top layer to surfaces or drain runs
*Adding to the soil profile or for amelioration before turf establishment.
Supplied moist as a natural turf dressing, our sports sand is fully compatible with our 70/30 and 50/50 sports renovation mix.

I recently purchased the 70/30 sand and topsoil mix from the Turf Store, and I am extremely pleased with the quality of the product. It has worked very well for overseeding my lawn this year, providing an excellent base for strong, healthy growth.
The mix was clean, consistent, and of a very high standard, with no stones at all. It is clear that this is a superior-quality product, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable top dressing or overseeding mix.

Only reason not to have given 5 stars… a better idea of a delivery window would have been very useful (one e-mail giving a 6 day window and supplying a link to down load an app for updates that I couldn’t get to download, even after several tries) and a call 10 minutes before they were about to arrive (thankfully someone happened to be home to move a car to allow delivery).
I wanted some lawn dressing to even out a new lawn that had settled over the winter. Turfstore offered a larger sized bag, 950kg rather than the usual 850kg, delivered it in 3 days, in time for the long weekend , delivery truck had a portable pallet carrier and the driver placed the bag neatly under cover in the garage before it started raining. Excellent service. Would thoroughly recommend
